Senior Soccer – Blackrock Vs Campbell College, Oct 2021

The senior soccer squad travelled to Belfast to play two sides from Campbell College in what we hope will be an annual fixture. In the 1st XI game, goals from Max Mooney (6th year) Harry Mellon (5th year) and Fergal O’Sullivan (2) (6th year) resulted in a victory.

The 2nd XI game also had a comfortable win with Ramon Sierra (5th year) hat-trick the highlight.
We have been invited to take part in the Grammar Schools’ First XI competition in March 2022. The two victories over Campbell follow a victory over Blackrock College AFC 2nds on Friday, 15th of October. Max Mooney’s goal was the only goal of that game. It was a great learning experience for the team, one that they truly excelled in.
