Rugby SCT Cup Campaign – Final, March 2024

A huge congratulations to our Senior Cup Team who won the SCT final on St. Patrick’s Day. We are thrilled for the leadership team of Jack Angulo (Captain), Derry Moloney, Mark Walsh and Charlie Molony, that their hard work and dedication has achieved this result. From the kick-off on Sunday, this team signalled their intent, to stick to their gameplan, to use both narrow and wide channels in attack and to commit to every tackle so Michael’s had no easy route for counter attacks.

The team’s success on the day is testament to the hours of commitment that go in behind the scenes by their coaches, their medical teams and the boys’ parents. To all those involved with the SCT throughout the year we are very grateful to you. To the accommodation, maintenance, grounds, catering, secretarial and teaching staff our gratitude to you also for your support of the SCT squad’s endeavours over the year.

Finally to our supporters, so ably led in the stands by our Cheerleaders – as was said at Sunday’s reception here in the College, you are the 16^th man and well done on your behaviour throughout the cup campaigns for both JCT and SCT.
