Rugby – 2nd Year Inter House 10s, Sept 2022

There was a fantastic spirit at our annual ‘10s’ competition last Saturday, 17th September. The standard of rugby was incredibly high which augurs well for the Rugby season ahead.

In the ‘A’ division, Leman (captain Max Assaf) was victorious coming from behind to beat De Valera (captain Charlie Kelly) 4-3 with a try last play of the game. Shanahan and Ebernecht were beaten in the semi-final. In the 5th /6th play off, McQuaid pipped Duff 4-3. Patrick Agnew (De Valera)) was player of the tournament.

In the ‘B’ division, De Valera (captain Finn McGovern) beat Duff (captain Ben Ryan) in the final with Euan Groarke (Shanahan) the recipient of the player of the tournament award.

We thank Ms Harlowe, Mr O’Brien, our coaches and referees for making it possible. We particularly thank our Transition Year House Captains who contributed hugely to the event brining much appreciated interest, energy, enthusiasm and inspiration.
