Congratulations to Andrew Quinn and his Duff squad on winning the House 10s ‘A’ Division, last Saturday 15th September, beating McQuaid, led by Padraig Hogan, in the Final. It was an excellent competition marked by fearless tackling and great handling skills. All 6 Houses contributed to the spirit of the event.

Leman (Captain Philippe Le Roux) and De Valera (Captain Michael Colreary) shared 3rd place as beaten semi-finalists while Ebenrecht (Captain Jody O’Carroll) beat Shanahan (Captain Oliver Coffey) in the 5th/6th playoff.

Unfortunately Ebenrecht had to scratch from the ‘B’ ‘7s’ competition. The other 5 houses put on a great display of running rugby with Leman (Captain Oisin Bohan) beating Shanahan (captain Roman Sierra) in the final. Duff (Captain Sean Griffith) finished 3rd, McQuaid (captain Alex Linklater) 4th and DeValera (Captain Charlie Parsons) 5th.

It was a great morning and I thank Mr Maher, Mr Henderson, Ms Harlowe, Mr O’Brien, Matthew Carroll, Louis O’Reilly, Carl Delaney, James Tarrant, Richie Mouatt and Dillon Coughlan.
