Leaving Certificate Results 2025

Our heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2025 who received, outstanding results. We are thrilled for them and their families that they have flourished in the College during their time here.

It can be easy to gloss over such an achievement, waiting for the next big moment (course offers, job applications, military training or internships) but as a Community it is an important time to reflect and to congratulate each member of the class, their teachers and their parents for the sustained effort that got them to this point.  The excellent results are well deserved and reflect their ability and hard work as well as the excellence displayed daily by their teachers.

Some of the highlights include:

• 37 boys scored over 600 points with 13 getting the maximum 625

• 4 boys achieved H1s in 7 subjects

• 61% achieved over 500 points

• 86% were awarded over 400 points

• 372 H1s across all subjects including;

• • 57 in Biology
  • 43 in Maths
  • 22 in Construction Studies
  • 34 in our Modern Foreign Languages Department

Blackrock College is a mixed ability school and we are equally proud of our Ordinary Level results.

Whatever the next step is for the Class of 2025, apprenticeship, PLC or College course, we support them and wish them well on their journey. The Blackrock way is to be the best you can be and the Class of 2025 has certainly lived up to that.
