Junior Gold Medal Debate

Congratulations to Jamie Starr Bourke, Frazer McGinn, Daniel Keeley, Ben Kieran-Glennon, Conor Hughes, Tom Walsh, Alec Linklater (all 2nd Year), Michael White, George Francis, James Carroll (all 3rd Year), all of whom participated in the Junior Gold Medal debate.
The motion was that:
“This House Believes That every individual should act in order to mitigate the dangerous effects of climate change”.
After an excellent debate adjudicated by Mr Sheil, Mr Maher and Ms Pierce, the winner of the 3rd Year God Medal was Michael White and the winner of the 2nd Year God Medal was Ben Kieran-Glennon.
I thank our adjudicators and particularly Ms Pierce for her organisation of Junior Debating.
