Junior Certificate Results 2025

We are delighted to share the wonderful news of our students’ outstanding achievements in the Junior Cycle examinations last week. These results are a testament to the hard work, dedication and resilience shown by our young men throughout their studies, and we couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them.

Some of the highlights include:

• 54 Distinctions in HL Maths – 27.4% of our students: National average was 8.7%

• 53 Distinctions in Science – 25.5% of our students: National average was 9.9%

• In Wood Technology and Graphics, 46% and 45% respectively achieved Distinctions while the national average is 9% and 10%.

• Out of a total of 1825 papers sat, 66% of results were Higher Merit or Distinction (70% or higher)

We also want to take this opportunity to acknowledge the incredible support from families and the tireless work of our committed teaching staff, whose guidance and encouragement have helped our boys reach these milestones.

To the boys – congratulations, you have made us proud and we look forward to seeing all that you will continue to achieve in the years ahead.
