Irish Debating – Qualification to National Final 2021

We commend Jack Burke and Ben Kieran Glennon (both TYr) and Joshua Scallan (5th Year), all of whom spoke very well at the national semi-final of the Comórtas Óráide an Phiarsaigh Irish debating competition after much meticulous preparation.

Of the eight senior speakers from Leinster, two were adjudged to proceed to the national final.

We congratulate Jack Burke who was adjudged one of two best senior speakers of the evening. Jack now proceeds to Gael Linn’s national final next month, alongside seven other individual speakers from schools throughout the country.
