Golf – Senior Team Leinster Schools

Irish Schools Senior Golf Championship
Leinster Finals

Congratulations to our Senior Golf Team of Captain Robert Galligan, Tom Kelly (both 6th Year), Jake Foley (3rd Year), Adam Allabbachani, Matthew O’Brien (both 4th Year) and sub Thomas Harte (5th Year) on their fantastic win over Benildus College in the Leinster Finals of the Irish Schools Senior match play championship. The match was held in Delgany Golf Club in dreadful conditions with howling winds and driving rain. At the last minute, we had a team change as Captain Alex Bolger (5th Year) was unable to play due to illness and Adam Allabbachani seamlessly filled his place. The winning of the game came down to the second last hole in the last match. We have qualified for the All Ireland Finals which will be in Macroom Golf Club in April. This will be our 3rd time in the last 4 years in the All Ireland’s but hopefully this will be a case of 3rd time lucky!
