Cricket – Leinster Senior League, May 2022

Well done to our senior cricket team, captained by Philippe Le Roux (5th Year) on their 7 wicket win over Wesley College in the Leinster Senior League.

Wesley were restricted to 75 all out with Will Connellan and Tom Johnson (both 5th Year) taking three wickets a piece.

The total was reached off 14 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Phillipe Le Roux had 38 runs in the successful chase. Clongowes await next week for our senior team.

An inexperienced junior team found the task awaiting them in Clongowes to be too big a challenge this time around, but will be better for the opportunity. Well done to captain Finlay Threadgold-Ball (3rd Year) on his excellent 4 for 16 with the ball. Unfortunately, it was not enough to prevent a 110 run defeat. We go again next week against St Andrews.
