Castle Carol Service 2019

The Boarders welcomed parents, grandparents, siblings, housemasters and staff to the annual Christmas Service last Sunday evening December 8th. The programme of readings and carols shared the true meaning of Christmas with the large congregation who had braved the awful weather, a lot of them traveling a distance to be with us. It was a most enjoyable evening and I congratulate the chorists, readers and our Castle Community.

I thank our Castle Chaplain Adam Puszczewicz, choir master Mr Michael Swan, our organist Sarah Caldwell, Fr Nash, Mr Rogan, Mr O’Boyle, Mr Creighton, Mr Moore, Mr Halpin, Kyle Dixon and Ms McGlynn for their preparation, organisation and support for the service. I particularly thank Andrea Fitzgerald our ‘events manager’ for making it such a special evening – both in the chapel and later in the Castle.

Final word of thanks to our Director of Boarding Mr MacDermott who provides the inspiration.
