Basketball Update – U16 East-Leinster League

This was an excellent win against a very talented St. Conleths side. St. Conleths had an excellent pointguard and an outside shooter who made this a very tight contest until just after the halfway point. We led 24-15 at the halfway stage but won the second half 33-7 to put up what is a very impressive score for an U-16 age group.

Captain Jimmy Gilligan (3rd Year) with 20 points led by example and was ably assisted by Feargal Keane (4th Year) with 11 points. Nico Coll (TY) playing his first ever game of competitive basketball was a natural and Pablo Villarroya (TY) ran the game superbly from the pointguard position.
