Basketball – U-19A Basketball East Leinster League v Coláiste Éanna

All Ireland Champions Colaiste Eanna were too strong for our valiant senior team. Though it was a tough match and result for the team, it was a fantastic learning curve and experience for what is required to compete at the top end of the A division. Our points total doesn’t do justice to the amount of offensive opportunities we did so well to create, however Colaiste Eanna’s intensity on defence throughout made it difficult for us to convert those opportunities into points. Huge credit must go to Maitiu Heckmann (Captain – 6th year) and his squad for their commitment and spirit shown right to the very end.

Next up is Colaiste Iosagáin Portarlington in the All-Ireland Schools Cup where a win would see us advance to the last 16.
