Congratulations to our Rowers on a fantastic weekend of racing 2nd /3rd April
A win for the Junior 15’s Coxed Quad J15 4x+ A –, Louis Kelly, Elliot Tomkin Beddy, Matthew Neary, Jack Buckley, Ben McElligott (all 3rd Year) against Kings Hospital. Louis Kelly and Elliot Tomkin-Beddy competed in the Junior 15 Double Scull final but lost to a strong crew from Clonmel Rowing Club.
Among many good performances, Lucas Perez and Patrick Cody (both 6th Year) made progress to the Final of the Mens Junior 16 Double Scull. The two rowers met Kings Hospital in the Quarter Final, Coleraine Rowing Club in the Semi-Final and were eventually beaten by Carlow Rowing Club in a very close race. We led until the last 100m of the Final.
