Tuesday 11th & Friday 14th May 2021
The Transition Year Retreats were facilitated in the College on Tuesday 11th & Friday 14th May 2021 by An Tobar Nua. Each session was packed with fun, interactive socially distanced games with music throughout with the sharing of the Retreat Masters personal life stories.
The Theme was “Friendships” and the fostering and valuing of friendships. Students expressed their thoughts / opinions with the use of multimedia in a fun and modern version of the Gospel story culminating with a prayer experience.
The Retreat was a hugely positive experience for the Year and afforded all the opportunity to reflect on an exceptionally busy year inspiring students to a life of meaning, value and purpose.
We thank the Retreat Masters, Mike and Enya for their valuable, faith-filled contribution to the experience of the Transition Year Boys. Gratitude also to Mr O’Neill, Mr Savage, Mr Grant and Mr Madden and the Chaplaincy Team for co-ordinating the various groups of boys.
