Jamie Browne-Lynch (3rd Year) competed in the Semi – Finals and delivered an outstanding speech; unfortunately, he did not qualify to speak in the Grand Final, but out of 300 students who competed in the initial stages of this competition, Jamie debated against the last remaining 24 students in a thrilling Semi-Final. Well done, Jamie.
We congratulate Jamie for his outstanding performance and to Josh Murphy for his continued support of his debating partner, and to all the Junior Debaters who competed in this UCD Competition: Josh Murphy and Jamie Browne- Lynch (both 3rd Year), Daniel Burns and Thomas Murray (both 2nd Year), Matthew Leamy and Michael Kennedy (both 2nd Year), Tom Hayden and Brian Carroll (both 3rd Year).
Our next competition will take place in Cambridge Union on April 30th, 2023:
Jamie Browne-Lynch & Josh Murphy (both 3rd Year).
We thank Ms Pierce and Michael White (class of 2022) for their organisation of the opportunity and preparation of the boys.
