Table Tennis All Ireland Championship, May 2023

Congratulations to our Blackrock Junior A, captained by Daniel Patterson (3rd Year) which has regained the All-Ireland Junior Championship, last won by Blackrock in 2018, at the All-Ireland Schools Finals at the National Indoor Arena, our 6th National Junior title.

A 5-2 victory over Connacht Champions St. Colmans College in the semi-final was followed by victory over Munster Champions Kinsale CS in the final, also on a 5-2 scoreline.

Junior A qualified for the All-Ireland Finals following their Leinster League title and subsequent playoff win against Castleknock College, also 5-2. The Leinster Cup Finals await as the juniors seek to complete the treble. The rest of the Squad was Colm Breslin, James Grant, John Healy, Shane Maxwell, Tom Woods (all 2nd Year), Alex Browne, Josh Murphy, Jack O’Connell, Richard Pattison and Conor Sheehan (all 3rd Year).
