Soccer – Joe McGrath Memorial Trophy – Senior Soccer v Terenure College

Congratulations to captain Daniel Bennett (6th Year) and our senior soccer team on their hard fought win against Terenure College. Trailing 2-0 at half time it took a Callum Dunne (6th Year) goal to spark life into our performance. Tom Cherico (6th Year) levelled the game with 20 minutes to play and this was followed by a Callum Dunne penalty moments later to give us a 3-2 lead. Peter Walshe (TY) got our fourth goal after some excellent build up play from Daniel Bennett & Thomas Downey (6th Year).

We thank our coaches of Peter Quinlan (class of 2019), Riley Smith (class of 2021), Max Mooney (class of 2022) and Mr O’Brien for their preparation of the team and wish Daniel and his team well in the final.
