Senior Science Quiz

Our annual Senior Science Quiz took place on Tuesday 11th October in the Senior Biology Lab with 21 competitors, four of whom were 5th Years. The quiz consisted of 5 rounds where students had to answer 10 questions from Chemistry, Biology, Physics, General Knowledge and Dingbats.

We congratulate Ben Kiernan Glennon who placed first, Gavin Bowen-O’ Connor who placed second and Patrick Keane who placed third (all 6th Year).

We thank Ms Wyse and her colleagues in the Science Department for their organisation of the event.

Following on from the quiz, three teams (all 6th Year) have been selected to represent Blackrock in the Regional Finals on Thursday, November 17th (venue TBC).
