Senior Musical Sweeney Todd, Nov 2022

Sweeney Todd closed on Friday evening last after four stellar performances of Stephen Sondheim’s masterpiece. Standing ovations were deservedly received/earned nightly as the audience ran out of superlatives.

We congratulate the cast, the musicians and the crew on their industry, teamwork and art.

We particularly thank my colleagues Mr Savage, Mr Grumley Traynor, Ms O’Kane, Mr Orrock, Mr O’Sullivan, Ms Ryan, Mr O’Brien and our Choreographer Clare Ivory, Jody Trehy on sound and Seán Hannon on lights for their inspiration and nurturing of the group. Finally, we thank Principal Ms Liz Caffrey, the staff and students of Mount Anville for their partnership in delivering an outstanding musical.
