Leman Concert XXXVI

We don’t know where to begin, and in all honesty, we certainly could go on and on and on!

Quite simply, this was AMAZING. The Quadrangle provided the perfect setting for our first outdoor concert and the performance of the boys, the Adult Choir and my colleagues was outstanding and rapturously received by the sell-out audience. If you missed this, boy did you miss out.

From the opening ‘Praise You’, through a further 16 acts and closing with the U2 Medley, there was no let up as the choirs, bands, duets, soloists and singing groups entertained so well, it leaves us thinking – is it a better venue than the National Concert Hall???

We thank my colleagues Mr Grumley-Traynor, Ms O’Kane, Mr Orrock, Mr Maher, Mr Madden, Mr Ryan, Mr Sheil, Mr Cavanagh, Mr Sullivan, Mr Swan, Mr Chris O’Sullivan, Mr Fintan O’Connor, Mr Moore, Mr Himpers, Mr Ken Burtenshaw and our household and maintenance teams.

We also thank and congratulate all our performers including our MCs James Carroll and Michael White (both 6th Year) who kept the concert moving seamlessly.
