Leaving Certificate Results 2023

These are, without question, exceptional results. The class of 2023 has delivered on their undoubted potential.

Congratulations to each member of the class, their teachers, and parents. The excellent results are well deserved and reflect their ability and hard work as well as the excellence of the Teachers.

Some of the highlights include:

• 47 boys scored over 600 points with 22 getting the maximum 625

• 66.3% achieved over 500 points

• 89.6% were awarded over 400 points

• 437 H1s across all subjects including 54 in Biology, 40 in Maths, 38 in French and 32 in English

• 99.9% pass rate at Higher Level and 100% at Ordinary level

Blackrock College is a mixed ability school, and we are equally proud of our Ordinary level results. The Blackrock way is to be the best you can be and the class of 2023 has certainly lived up to that.
