Dublin Metropolitan South – Senior Soccer v Tallaght CS, Oct 2022

Commiserations to captain Daniel Bennett (6th year) and the senior soccer team on their 3-4 loss to an excellent Tallaght CS side. Just like last weeks game, we started quickly with Callum Dunne (6th year) scoring after 6 minutes.

Tallaght CS pressed for an equalizer and as they did we caught them on the counter attack thanks to an Eoin Maher (6th year) goal.

In the 2nd half, Tallaght CS pressed and got a deserved goal only for Callum Dunne to fire in his second and our third. Unfortunately, Tallaght CS kept on pushing and got two quick fire goals before a last-minute penalty won the game for them.

We thank our coaches Peter Quinlan (class of 2019), Riley Smith (class of 2021), Max Mooney (class of 2022) and Mr O’Brien and encourage the team to keep going.
