Junior V Senior Debating
Tuesday, September 27th 2022
On Tuesday September 27th, the Junior and Senior Debating Teams came face to face in the CADLC.
The Junior Debaters proposed the motion:
This House Believes That Reality TV Represents Everything That Is Wretched About Ireland Today.
Junior Debaters: Daniel Burns, Matthew Leamy, John McCallig (all 2nd Year), Rossa Clonan and Brian Carroll (both 3rd Year).
Senior Debaters: Ishaan Pandey (TY), Frazer McGinn, Ben Kieran-Glennon, Jamie Starr-Bourke and Aaron Murtagh (all 6th Year).
Mr. Sheil and Ms. Pierce adjudicated proceedings whilst Mr. Orrock chaired the debate.
The Senior Team, in Opposition, won the debate with Matthew Leamy (2nd Year) and Ben Kieran-Glennon (6th Year) voted as best speakers of the day.
