Cross Country – Relay Event
Wednesday, 9th November 2022
Some 676 students from 35 schools competed in the Cross-Country Relay event held on the College campus last Wednesday, 9th November.
The 2nd Year boys won a bronze medal. The team consisted of James Foot, Andrew Clancy, Cameron Fallon, and Peter Lee. The second team of Eoin Fitzpatrick, Pádraig Matthews, Calum Burke, and Jose Carlos de la Cuesta finished 12th.
The 3rd and 4th had 2 teams in this event. Daniel Norton, Callum Downes, Cillian Staunton and Eddie Totterdell finished in 9th. Donnacha Barry, Hugh Barry, Jamie Browne-Lynch, Lorcan Lawless, and Michael Percival finished 14th.
In the final race for 5th and 6th years, the team of Lorcan Little, Jed O’Malley, Samuel O’Donovan, David Crowley, and William Connellan finished fourth. Well done to the students who filled-in and represented the school so well in this event on short notice.
