Basketball – U19A Basketball Ireland East Leinster League Playoff v Coolmine CS

In a very tight game which ebbed and flowed, we were 8 points up going into the final quarter. An outstanding 22 point final quarter saw us run out winners against a determined Coolmine side.

Captain Eric Brandt (6th Year) led superbly with 28 points. Aaron O’Halloran and Sam Curley (both 4th Year) added 16 points each. At times we were sloppy in possession against Coolmine, and we know we will need to improve to continue to progress.

This win qualifies us for the East-Leinster League Quarter Final however, before that we have the All-Ireland Quarter Final of the schools’ cup versus Kncokbeg College.
