5th Year Auxilium 2022

Class of 2024
Community Service Programme
AUXILIUM
“A life not lived for others is not a life”
Mother Teresa
This year’s Auxilium, community Service programme was launched at a 5th Year Assembly on Friday last, 14th October.
Mr Orrock, Auxilium Co-ordinator, explained the programme to the boys which is underpinned by the seven core values of a Spiritan Education and is representative of what it means to be a Blackrock student.
The 5th Year boys will complete 10 hours of volunteer activities over the six week period, 17th October to 24th November. The activities should be in the boys homelife and community and should satisfy one of the three criteria to Aid and Assist others;
Volunteer your skills
Talents and Service
Outreach to the poor
We wish the boys well with the programme and thank Mr Orrock and Ms Dobbyn for their organisation, leadership and inspiration.
“One of life’s most persistent and urgent question is,
What are you doing for others?”
