3rd Year Family Mass, Nov 2022

Fr. Brendan Carr with concelebrants Fr. Nash and Fr. Dundon led us in a liturgy elevated by the musical accompaniment, cantors and wonderful singing of the 3rd Year choir. It was a most prayerful and reflective ceremony during which we prayed for all victims of abuse.

We thank our celebrants, Musical Director Ms O’Kane, Organist Mr Orrock, Guitarist Jamie Browne Lynch (3rd Year); Readers: Conn Andrews, Mikel Connolly, Charlie Martin, Hugo Carroll, Mateo Navarro Planelles, Owen Coetzee, Kieran Byrne, Daniel McDermott and Junyu Shen; our Corless Choir and Eucharistic Ministers: Diarmaid Monahan, Jamie Ryan, Frazer McGinn, Louis Dignam, Jack Larkin, Michael Yarr, Eoghan Walsh and Oscar Dignam (all 6th Year).

We thank the President of the Union John O’ Doherty (class of 1986) and his wife Nicola, for representing that important bond between Blackrock past and present. Finally, we thank Mr Brennan and my colleagues Mr Madden, Mr O’Reilly, Mr Mealiffe, Ms Nolan, Ms Markey, Mr O’Neill, Mr Kelly and Mr Commons for their organisation and encouragement of the boys.
