Leaving Certificate Results 2026
LEAVING CERTIFICATE RESULTS
2026
The Class of 2026 achieved outstanding results on Friday 21st August, and we are absolutely delighted for the boys and their families. Their results are a wonderful reflection of the progress they have made throughout their time in the College.
There is always a temptation, after a significant milestone such as this, to immediately look ahead to what comes next – college places, apprenticeships, employment, internships, travel or other opportunities. However, it is important that we pause and properly recognise what has been achieved. These results represent years of commitment, perseverance and hard work. They reflect the individual ability and determination of the Class of 2026, alongside the encouragement and support of their parents and families and the dedication, expertise and care of their teachers.

As a mixed-ability school, we are particularly proud of the achievements of all our students, including those who sat Ordinary Level examinations. Success looks different for every young person, and what matters is that each member of the Class of 2026 has the opportunity to take the next step that is right for them.
Whether that journey now leads to a university course, further education, an apprenticeship, employment, training or another opportunity, we wish every member of the Class of 2026 every success. We hope they leave Blackrock with the confidence to embrace what lies ahead and the determination to make the most of the opportunities that come their way.
The Blackrock way is about striving to be the best version of yourself, whatever your starting point or destination. The Class of 2026 have demonstrated that spirit throughout their time in the College, and we are immensely proud of them.
