Global Citizenship Projects
Global Citizenship 2026
This term, students across the school have been actively involved in a variety of Global Citizenship projects. A highlight was attending the Spiritan Global Citizenship Showcase, themed “Our World, Our Future: Global Goals in Action”. Through engaging talks and interactive workshops, students explored important issues such as social justice, sustainability, and climate action.
Pupils were inspired by guest speakers including Deirbhile Craven from Trócaire, John O’Shea, founder of GOAL, and Louise Quill from Tír na nÓg. They spoke about the importance of youth engagement, humanitarian work, and empowering communities around the world.
Our Transition Year students proudly presented a video spotlight showcasing their work and ideas. They also took part in lively round-table discussions alongside students from St. Michael’s College, St. Mary’s College, and Willow Park School, sharing perspectives and learning from one another. The experience encouraged students to think globally, act responsibly, and recognise the positive impact young people can have on the future of our world.
