X-COUNTRY

Congratulations to our X-COUNTRY SQUADS who had an excellent today at the EAST LEINSTER CHAMPIONSHIPS held in Avondale, Co. Wicklow.
Our Senior Squad dominated the race, with Luke McCann (2nd), Christian McKenna (3rd) (both 5th Year), Aengus Meldon (4th)
(6th Year), Brian McGlone (7th), Matthew McKenna (9th), Jack Stokes (10th), Declan Norton (12th) and Bernard O’Sullivan (21st) (all 5th Year) and won the team event.
The Inter Team of Mark Dignam (4th) and Shane Holohan (both Transition Year), Conor Halpin (5th), Patrick Fahy (13th), Luke Demichel and Rory O’Neill (all 3rd Year) and Edward McKenna (10th) and Peter Murphy (both 2nd Year) also won their team event.
Our Junior Team of Tim D’Arcy (4th), Richard O’Farrell (5th), David Fitzgibbon (23rd), Scott Cullinane , Max McKenna (13th), Harry Sharpe (9th) (all 2nd Year) and Jack Byrne (Willow) finished 2nd overall.
The Leinster Championships will take place on Wednesday 11th February in Santry.
