VOCAB EXPRESS LEAGUE OF CHAMPIONS 2014

Our 4th year modern language students competed online for one week with over 200 schools internationally.

Our best placing collectively was 5th in the french challenge cup. Dylan McCarthy (4th year) recorded the highest contribution by far to our aggregate score. Well done, Dylan.

Congratulations to Oisin Ryan (3rd year) who has been awarded 1st place in Europe in the French vocab express competition and 4th place in linguistics overall from 33,000 students, a remarkable achievement.

I thank Ms Dobbyn and her colleagues in the language department for their organisation of this opportunity.
