Transition Year Family Mass Sunday, 4th December 2016
Provincial Fr. Marc Whelan CSSp. (class of 1980) was chief celebrant at our Annual Transition Year Mass.
He urged the boys to make the most of the T.Y. Programme, “to stretch themselves, to be surprised, to be grateful and to emerge as deeper Christians”. We were delighted to welcome so many grandparents to our liturgy “may they continue to be for their families strong pillars of gospel faith and guardians of noble domestic ideals”.
A full chapel and a great atmosphere!
We thank Fr. Whelan and the concelebrating community, Union President Brian O’Neill (class of 1981) his wife Eibhlin, Mr. Tom Ryan, Mr. Goan, Ms. McMahon, Ms. O’Connor, Ms. Hegarty, Mr. Grumley-Traynor, Ms. Wade, Mr. Savage. Mr. O’Neill and Mr. Brennan our Servers, Musicians, Ministers of the Eucharist and the Choir, and of course the parents, boys and extended families of Transition Year all of whom made the liturgy so meaningful.
