THANKSGIVING SERVICE FOR THE GIFT OF SPORT

Roghan McMahon (5th Year) represented the College at the 65th Annual Ecumenical Service of Thanksgiving for the gift of Sport which took place in St. Ann’s Church, Dawson Street, on the evening of Sunday, March 30th, 2014.

President of the Union, Greg Moore (Class of 1982) also represented our past students. Senator Eamon Coghlan, former Olympian and World Champion at 5,000 m delivered the address. “Sport is not the end result. It’s that journey and everything you learn on that journey”.

The Service focused on thanksgiving for all men, women and young people whose lives have been enriched and blessed by the gift of Sport.
