Table Tennis – April 2016

Congratulations to our Junior A and Senior A Squads who completed the Leinster Division I Double, with Junior A taking the title for the 8^th time in 9 years, while for Senior A it was the 7^th title in a row.

The League seasons have concluded for both teams, with the Senior A securing the title with a 6 – 0 win over Terenure, following earlier victories over High School, Castleknock and St Brendan’s.

Meanwhile, Junior A put in an outstanding performance to seal the Junior Title with a 4 – 2 win over Carlow, with both teams entering the final match of the season tied on 18 points each.

Both teams now refocus on their All-Ireland play-offs next week, with the All-Irelands to come at the end of April, followed by the Leinster Cup Finals.

Junior A was made up of David Campbell, Robert Kelly, Duran Osan (all 3^rd Year), Captain Joey Nelson and Barry O’Keeffe (both 4^th Year).

Senior A was made up of Rory Murphy, Laurence Shields (both 6^th Year), Stephen Campbell, Charlie Fitzgerald and Captain Louis Murphy (all 5^th Year).
