An appreciative audience of family and friends enjoyed the best of Blackrock in the Jubilee Hall last night, Thursday 4th May. I never cease to be amazed at the extraordinary talent in the College.
Our Choirs – Libermann, Corless, 1st year Willow Park, Adult and Boarder – 6th Year ensemble, Jazz and Trad Bands and the College Orchestra delivered a programme par excellence.
Our M.C. Louis Keyes (5th Year) ensured that it ran to schedule and kept the audience engaged, amused.
There is no doubt that the talent is excellent but it is brought to a higher plane by our superb team, Mr. MacDonald, Mr. O’Sullivan, Mr. Swan, Mr. Cavanagh, Mr. Grumley-Traynor and Ms. O’Connor. Well done and thank you.
I also thank Andrew Hickey (Class of 2009), Gavin Coll (Class of 2015) and Sean Hannan (Transition Year) for delivering superb lighting and sound.
