St Andrews SAIMUN 2018

St Andrew’s International Model United Nations (SAIMUN)
Monday, 26th March – Thursday, 29th March 2018
Congratulations to the team representing the delegation of Libya on their tremendous achievement of winning ‘High Commended Delegation’ at Saint Andrews International Model United Nations Conference. It is one of the most prestigious conferences in Europe.
Shore Oulburode represented Libya in the Economic and Financial Committee. John Huggard represented the delegation in the Environment committee. Michael Lucey represented Libya in the Disarmament and International Security committee.
Extremely well done to the students who won individual Distinguished Delegate awards.
With almost every delegate on the team winning an individual award, through masses of hard work and dedication, and too winning Highly Commended Delegation, SAIMUN 2018 was a great success for Blackrock College’s MUN society!
I would like to thank Mr Smyth and Christopher O’Flaherty for their organisation and dedication to the MUN society. Without them, success would have not been possible!
