Spanish Debating

Our debating team of Luke Demichel and James Kos (both 6th Year) and Ben White and Davide Mei (both 5th Year) unfortunately did not make it through to the quarterfinals this year. They lost their first debate against Loreto Beaufort opposing the motion ‘Sportspeople are no longer good role models’. They won the second debate against The Kings Hospital’ proposing the motion ‘Catalonia should not be independent’. We didn’t get enough points overall to proceed.

It was a great effort by all and we will continue the competition next year.
