A disappointing end to an unbelievable game of football. We commiserate with Captain Sean O’Dowd (6th Year) and his Squad.

Alan Murphy (6th Year) gave ’Rock the lead after 10 minutes.  ’Rock could have had 2 or 3 more before the half-time break.  Tallaght never looked like scoring in the 1st half until the last kick of the 1st half when they equalised.

An entertaining 2nd half somehow managed to supply no goals, so the game went to extra time.  Despite hitting the underside of the bar and having a shot cleared off the line, the extra time period went the way of Tallaght.

The focus now turns to the League and we wish the Squad well against Oatlands in the next game.
