Celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge!
April 3rd to 7th 2017
Seachtain na Gaeilge is a week where we celebrate our national language and our culture.
This years activities included Sean Nós dancing, Tráth na gceist, tóraíocht taisce, cluiche peil, puc fada, céilí le Sion Hill.
On Tuesday boys from 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Year all learned a few Sean Nós steps.
The annual Staff versus 4th Year football match was played in great spirits again this year. The 4th years started very strong, after 10 minutes they lead 2-2 to 0-1. However with the experience of Alan Sheridan in goal and Mr. Grant running up and down the pitch the staff came back to win 3-9 to 2-4.
The week ended with a céilí with Sion Hill in the lecture hall.
