WHAT A CUP FINAL!

I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that the All-’Rock Finals are the best. After the House 5ths / Colts epic clash earlier in the week, it was hard to believe that we would get one better. But we did.

I congratulate both MARK GODFREY (6th Year), his CASTLE SQUAD and JACK COSGROVE (5th Year) and his HOUSE SQUAD on a brilliant Final played before a large enthusiastic crowd on the front lawn last Friday, March 27th, 2015.

This was Cup Rugby at its finest, no quarter asked or given, played at a high intensity with a great spirit and sportsmanship. The final outcome reflected this – everyone was a winner.

I thank our Coaches Mr Neville, Mr Maupin, Luke Hickey (Class of 2007), Mr Daly (for the House) and Mr Kehoe, Mr Toirleac O’Brien and Jack O’Carroll (Class of 2012) for the Castle.

I thank Mr Evan O’Brien, the Catering and Grounds Staff for making it happen.

Finally, I thank the boys and their parents for their endorsement of the Blackrock way.
