defeat a gallant Belvedere S.C.T.
at the R.D.S. last Friday, 23rd March.

Our S.C.T. was quite simply outstanding and paid fitting tribute to not just their individual and collective talent but also to the superb leadership and direction provided by our coaching team led by Justin Vanstone.

I wish to acknowledge the sportsmanship and good grace of Belvedere, their captain David Hawkshaw, coaches Phil Werahiko and Stephen Gibbons and Headmaster Mr Foley.

I thank all who made this possible: Coaches Mr Vanstone, Mr Pickering, Mr Lambe, Mr Toomey, Mr Murray, Mr Moore, our medical team of Dr Doyle, Peter Mulrean, Seamus Toomey and Andrea Fitzgerald, our Games Administrator Mr O’Brien, our catering, grounds and household staff, our cheerleaders led by Charlie Byrne, our Deans, Teachers in attendance, parents and boys.
