RUGBY: Inter-House Tens Competition

We were blessed by fine weather for the Annual Inter-House Rugby Tens Competition held last Saturday, 12 September 2015.

Duff House defeated Ebenrecht 21 – 19 in the 6th Year Final with Brian Grogan (Ebenrecht) winning the Player Of The Tournament Award.

De Valera beat Duff (12 – 7) in Fifth Year with Matthew Campbell Player of the Tournament.

In Transition Year, Shanahan House was successful, beating Duff (21-7). Harry Angulo was Player of the Tournament.

3rd Year had an A and B Competition. De Valera beat Ebenrecht in the Final (17 – 10) with Jack Loscher Player of the Tournament and in the ‘B’ Competition McQuaid beat Shanahan (13 – 6) with Andrew Hendrickx Player of the Tournament.

There was a great turnout and I congratulate all the boys who participated in the Competition.

I thank Mr Evan O’Brien, the Deans, Mr Smyth, Mr Daly, Mr Neville, Mr Grant, Mr Fitzsimons, Mr Walsh, Mr McMahon and our team of past-student Referees for making it possible.
