Rowing Regatta

ROWING REGATTA

The IRISH SCHOOLS REGATTA was held in O’Briensbridge, Co Clare last Sunday, 24^th April 2016.

We congratulate Sean Hannon (3^rd Year) who was 1^st in the U15 Single Sculls;

Conal Regan and Josh Loughrey (both 3^rd Year) who won the U15 Double Sculls;

Sean, Conal and Josh were joined by Matt Smith (2^nd Year) to win the U15 Coxed Quad.

Dan Casey, Jonathan O’Neill, Mark Kenny, Jack Tiernan and MJ Power (all 2^nd Year) finished 3^rd in the U14 Coxed Quad.

Josh Warren (Transition Year), Fergal McCluskey, James Gibney, John Fennelly (all 3^rd Year) and Matt Smith (Cox) came 3^rd in their Heat of the U16 Coxed Quad.

A great day out for our Rowing Squad and I thank Laura Gannon, Jack Brennan, Jack Nagle and Rory McCluskey (all Class of 2015) for their enthusiasm, preparation and encouragement of the boys.
