ROCKMUN 2018

The Blackrock College MUN (Model United Nations) society held our 3rd annual ROCKMUN conference on February 2nd and 3rd. There were 190 delegates from 10 schools in attendance for an event which provided fun and education. The media team, led by Ben Heapes, (6th Year) and Mark McGrane (4th Year) provided a very successful ROCKMUN review. Simon Huggard (6th Year) adjudicated very well as president of General Assembly. The conference was a huge success on all levels.

I congratulate the organising Committee of Christopher O’Flaherty, Simon Huggard and Ben Heapes (all 6th Year), on such a fantastic event. I thank our household, maintenance and catering staff for their selfless contribution.

Finally I thank my colleagues Mr Smyth, Ms Ryan, Ms McGuire and Ms Pierce for making it happen.
