ANOTHER FIRST FOR M.A.D. WEEK!

Bill Madigan, John Heavey, Chris Wong and Mark Heavey proposed the Motion:

“That this House believes that the Netflix Generation is Culturally Deprived”.

Despite their best efforts, the Parents’ Team of Tara Buckley (mother of Shane Keane), Dermot Horan (father of Peter) Lorcan Murphy (father of Ben) and Stephen Doyle (father of Richard) defeated the Motion.

Tara was deemed by our Judges, Joshua Kieran Glennon (6th Year) and Stephen Rooney (5th Year) to be the Best Speaker.

This was an excellent initiative and I thank Mr Brennan, Mr Sheil, the Transition Year Parents’ Committee, the Speakers and Audience of Transition Year boys for their contribution to this initiative, which will become, please God, an annual event.
