Mark O’Brien (2^nd Year) who was the only Irish person to take part in the relay bringing the Olympic Torch to Rio de Janeiro for the opening ceremony of the games

IN ROWING:

Louis Crowe (3^rd Year) who won the U’15 Single Sculls National Championship

Jack Stacey (6^th Year) who represented Ireland in the Home International Rowing Regatta held in Cardiff

IN SAILING:

Ewan McMahon (5^th Year) who was 2^nd in the Laser Youth Radial World Championships and Jamie McMahon (2^nd Year) won the Laser 4.7 Fleet Nationals

IN TABLE TENNIS:

Louis Murphy (6^th Year) and Joey Nelson (5^th Year) on their selection for Ireland

Charlie Fitzgerald (6^th Year) who was a member of the Ireland U’18 team that beat England in the final of the ‘home’ International Championship

IN TOUCH RUGBY:

Andrew Mays, Shane Heenan, and Cillian Daly (Class of 2016), Cian Reilly, Mark Phelan, Bill Madigan, Padraig O’Shea, Alan Francis, James Moriarty, Andrew Savage, Giuseppe Coyne, Joseph O’Donnell (6^th Year), Louis O’Reilly and Liam McMahon (both 5^th Year), all members of the Ireland boys U’18 squad beaten 4-3 by England in the final of the Touch Rugby Championships held in Arnhem the Netherlands

IN RUGBY:

Patrick Patterson, Andrew Murphy and Liam Turner who represented Leinster schools and Leinster U’19s respectively and Richie Fahy (6^th Year) who represented Ulster U’19s

IN CRICKET:

J.J Garth (Transition Year) and Gavin Hoey (3^rd Year) on their selection for Ireland in Cricket at U’15 Level
