Model United Nations

The opening M.U.N.for the year was held in Terenure College at the end of September 2014.

 

Topics debated included:

 

•             The question of mitigating the environmental impacts of mining

•             The question of the islamic insurgency in the Levant

•             The question of combating malaria.

 

Distinguished Delegates Awards were received by:

 

Daniel Dunleavy (6th Year), Marcus O’Faolain (5th Year), John Heavey and Scott Donohoe (both 4th Year), all representing South Korea and Drummond McGinn (2nd Year), representing Spain.

 

Joshua Gorman-Climax and James Quinn (both 6th Year) represented the College as Chairs during the Conference.
