Monday, October 2nd saw the launch of the Staff Book Club which will continue to meet in the first week of every month. On Tuesday at 12.15 the whole school dropped everything to read. Rock read! Other activities to mark Literacy Day included :

- 5th Year (Author Sarah Maria Griffin)
- 6th Year (Author Discussion Panel with Dave Rudden, Sadhbh Devlin and Sarah Maria Griffin hosted by Drummond McGinn (5th Year) and Stephen Ryan (6th Year))

The day was a huge success. All this could not have happened without a lot of work behind the scenes for which we thank the Creative Arts and Digital Learning Centre Committee who gave generously of their time:
