Leinster Schools Tag Rugby Cup

Congratulations to all 40 Transition year students who took part in the first ever Leinster Schools Tag Rugby Cup held in UCD yesterday. In the Boys open section Blackrock entered 4 teams.

After pool play the finals were divided into a Bowl, Plate and Championship section. After some tight matches and thrilling finishes to games. Blackrock found themselves in all 3 finals winning the Championship and Bowl competitions and being runners up in the Plate competition.

We congratulate all involved with special mention to Captain Sean Raleigh and his team consisting of: Miguel Gutierrez, Adam Harvey, Spencer O’Hara, Elliot McNamara, Leon Bruns, Gerald Boylen, Joe Byrne and Luke Curtis on winning the first ever Leinster Schools Tag cup.
